At the Barnsley 0-19 Public Health Nursing service the health and well-being of our children, young people, families, communities and staff is an absolute priority. We are monitoring and adapting to the situation as it unfolds.
About us
We are closely following Government advice and have introduced home working for our staff wherever possible and taking measures to social distance whilst providing other ways to keep contact and support our service users. It is expected to cause some disruption to service but ultimately, we aim to provide help, guidance and support wherever possible especially if you are having difficulty
The Covid-19 situation means that we are all finding new ways to work, and we consider that our services are needed more than ever as families face challenges and uncertain weeks ahead. Therefore, we will continue to undertake key stage assessments by telephone and some essential contacts will continue to be made as a face to face or home visit but we will contact you by telephone in the first instance.
